Gold Coast Africa is the world's leading, and largest, kente weaver. Established in 1994, we began weaving kente over 30 years ago.

The artistic shapes you see and feel in our stoles are meticulously rendered using an age-old, hand-loom process to create our premium quality kente stoles. There is no other product with such a unique, aesthetic functionality.

We owe the beauty of our stoles to our talented weavers in Ghana. Gold Coast Africa trains and retains the most skilled and experienced weavers, and we provide them with exceptional working conditions. We also educate our weavers about consumer expectations for high quality.

Our standard kente design features three symbols on each side, 6 in all, unlike others with only two per side, or 4 in all, making up the difference with a long expanse of blank kente in between.
